MINUTES <br />REGULAR MEETING <br />PLANNING AND ZONING COMMISSION <br />CITY OF PARIS - CITY HALL <br />COUNCIL CHAMBERS <br />107 E. KAUFMAN STREET <br />PARIS, TEXAS <br />MONDAY, MAY 6, 2013 <br />5:30 O'CLOCK P.M. <br />1. The regular meeting of the Planning and Zoning Commission on Monday, May 6, 2013, <br />was called to order at 5:30 p.m. by Richard Hunt, Vice - Chairman. <br />A. The following members were present: <br />James Price <br />Jerry Akers <br />Richard Hunt <br />Mike Folmar <br />Holland Harper <br />B. The following members were absent: <br />Dennis Chalaire <br />Keith Flowers <br />C. Also present were Shawn Napier, Director of Engineering, Planning and <br />Development; Alan Efrussy, Planning Manager; Sue Lancaster, Council Liaison; <br />and Ashley Fendley, Secretary for the Planning and Zoning Commission. <br />2. Approval of minutes from previous meetings. (April 1, 2013) <br />Motion was made by Mike Folmar, seconded by James Price to approve the meeting <br />minutes for April 1, 2013. Motion carried 4 -0. <br />3. Public hearing to consider and take action regarding the petition of Kwik Check #34 for a <br />change in zoning from Agricultural District (A) to a Commercial District (C) on Lot 3, City <br />Block 345, and Tract 26 of the J. Bourland Survey A #69, being located at 2965 South <br />Church Street. <br />Public hearing was declared open. <br />A. No one spoke in favor of the petition. <br />B. No one spoke in opposition. <br />Public hearing was declared closed. <br />
