MINUTES <br />REGULAR MEETING <br />PLANNING AND ZONING COMMISSION <br />CITY OF PARIS - CITY HALL <br />COUNCIL CHAMBERS <br />107 E. KAUFMAN STREET <br />PARIS, TEXAS <br />MONDAY, FEBRUARY 6, 2012 <br />5:30 O'CLOCK P.M. <br />1. The regular meeting of the Planning and Zoning Commission on Monday, February 6, <br />2012, was called to order at 5:30 p.m. by Dennis Chalaire, Chairman. <br />A. The following members were present: <br />James Price <br />Jerry Akers <br />Dennis Chalaire <br />Keith Flowers <br />Richard Hunt <br />B. The following members were absent: <br />Keith Barnett <br />Holland Harper <br />C. Also present was Shawn Napier, P.E., Director of Engineering, Planning and <br />Development; and Jeanna Scott, Assistant Building Official. <br />2. Approval of minutes from previous meetings. (January 3, 2012) <br />Motion was made by James Price, seconded by Keith Flowers to approve the meeting <br />minutes for the January 3, 2012. Motion carried 5 -0. <br />3. Public hearing and consideration of and action on the Site Plan for Richard B. Rooney on <br />Lot 1, Block A, Water Tower Place CB 258 Addition, being number 625 25`h Street N.E. <br />Public hearing was declared open. <br />A. The following individuals spoke in favor of the petition. <br />Dick Rooney, 3620 Summer Hill, property owner, spoke in favor of the petition. <br />Mr. Rooney stated the development sits on roughly one acre of land and will consist <br />of 11 units; two quad units and one triplex. The units will be single story two <br />bedroom, two baths; there will be a front and back door with adequate lighting. <br />Chairman Chalaire asked if this is going to be single story brick construction. Mr. <br />Rooney stated yes it would be brick veneer. Commissioner Akers asked what will <br />
