Block 63, being located at 636 Tudor Street be changed from Low Density Residential to <br />General Retail. <br />Public hearing was declared open. <br />The following individuals spoke in favor of the petition. <br />Carla Wallace, 636 6th Street N.E., spoke in favor of the petition. Ms. Wallace stated this <br />is a clothing store and provides jobs to the neighborhood. Ms. Wallace further stated that <br />this business enhances the neighborhood. <br />Charles Wallace, 1840 Harrison Avenue, spoke in favor of the petition. Mr. Wallace <br />stated the clothing store brings a positive business to a neighborhood surrounded by clubs. <br />Mr. Wallace further stated that by bringing something good to the neighborhood can make <br />a positive mark to the area. <br />No one spoke in opposition. <br />Public hearing was declared closed. <br />Motion was made by Holland Harper, seconded by James Price to approve the Future Land <br />Use Plan.
