Discussion of and possible action regarding the following structure considered by code <br />inspectors to be in violation ofArticle III of Chapter 7 of'the Code of Ordinances of the <br />City of Paris, Paris, Texas, entitled "Substandard and Dangerous Buildings and <br />Structures, " to determine whether such building or structure currently located within the <br />city's historic district has special historic significance and should be protected from <br />demolition and recommended for rehabilitation and repair being located at: <br />A. 508 South Church Street <br />Jeanna Scott, HPO stated this order only pertains to the garage on the back side <br />of the property. The garage is a non contributing structure because it was built in <br />1998 and is of metal construction. Ms. Scott further stated that Mr. Faber <br />has contacted the City and will be removing and replacing the damaged <br />areas of the garage. Robert Talley, Code Enforcement Supervisor, stated Mr. <br />Faber has a choice to either demolition the structure or repair it. Motion was <br />made by Nancy Anderson, seconded by Britin Bostick to send the garage <br />structure to the Building and Standards Commission for demolition or repair <br />since it cannot be rehabilitated nor do they have significant historical value. <br />Motion carried 4 -0. <br />6 Discussion of and possible action regarding the following structures considered by code <br />inspectors to be in violation ofArticle III of Chapter 7 of the Code of Ordinances of the <br />City of Paris, Paris, Texas, entitled "Substandard and Dangerous Buildings and <br />Structures, " to determine whether such buildings or structures can be rehabilitated and <br />designated on the National Register of Historic Places, as a recorded Texas Historic <br />Landmark, or as historic property as designated by the City Council of the City of Paris: <br />A. 5016' Street N.E. <br />B. 50516th Street N.E. <br />
