Discussion of and possible action regarding the following structure considered by code inspectors to be in violation ofArticle III of Chapter 7 of'the Code of Ordinances of the City of Paris, Paris, Texas, entitled "Substandard and Dangerous Buildings and Structures, " to determine whether such building or structure currently located within the city's historic district has special historic significance and should be protected from demolition and recommended for rehabilitation and repair being located at: A. 508 South Church Street Jeanna Scott, HPO stated this order only pertains to the garage on the back side of the property. The garage is a non contributing structure because it was built in 1998 and is of metal construction. Ms. Scott further stated that Mr. Faber has contacted the City and will be removing and replacing the damaged areas of the garage. Robert Talley, Code Enforcement Supervisor, stated Mr. Faber has a choice to either demolition the structure or repair it. Motion was made by Nancy Anderson, seconded by Britin Bostick to send the garage structure to the Building and Standards Commission for demolition or repair since it cannot be rehabilitated nor do they have significant historical value.
