Motion carried 6 -0. <br />B. 115 S Main — Creative Candy Designs - Alex Pickering, Scott's Custom Signs <br />represented the petition. Ms. Pickering stated this sign will be replacing the <br />Almost Welcome Sign currently attached to the front of the building. Motion was <br />made by Douglas Cox, seconded by Matt Coyle to approve the COA. Motion <br />carried 6 -0. <br />C. 136 Clarksville — The Skinny Grille — Kenya Edzards, business owner, <br />represented the petition. Ms. Edzards stated she has additional information <br />regarding the color for the awning. Ms. Edzards presented examples of the liquid <br />copper paint for the canopy. The paint has actual copper in the paint so that it will <br />age like real copper, the other exterior painted areas of the building will be <br />painted a dark brown color. Alex Pickering, Scott's Custom Signs, represented <br />the sign portion of the COA. Ms. Pickering stated that all the dark signage <br />painted on the building will not be done. They will be doing the window graphics <br />around the bottom of the windows, the two attached signs and the under the <br />canopy sign. Motion was made by Ben Vaughan, seconded by Matt Coyle to <br />approve the COA. Motion carried 6 -0. <br />D. 138 Bonham — Main Trading Co. — Alex Pickering, Scott's Custom Signs, <br />represented the petition. Ms. Pickering stated that the big white box around the <br />signage does not belong. It will be round with no white background; also the <br />owner has changed his mind on the paint color. Motion was made by Nancy <br />Anderson, seconded by Matt Coyle to approve the COA. Motion carried 6 -0. <br />E. 102 Lamar Avenue — Girls and Cake — Candace Mayer, business owner, <br />represented the petition. Ms. Mayer stated she is requesting approval of the door <br />graphics and a under canopy sign to be located under the canopy at the door <br />entrance on the Is' S. E. side. Motion was made by Nancy Anderson, seconded by <br />Matt Coyle to approve the COA. Motion carried 6 -0. <br />F. 559 Church Street — Tim Wilhite, contractor, represented the petition. Mr. <br />Wilhite they are proposing removing all roofing layers and replace with the slate <br />color composition shingle. Mr. Wilhite offered an example of the shingle that <br />was similar to the exiting shingle. Motion was made by Ben Vaughan, seconded <br />by Douglas Cox to approve the COA. Motion carried 6 -0. <br />4. Consideration of and action on the following Fagade Grants: <br />A. 15 P Street S.E. and 102 Lamar Avenue — Gary Waite — Motion was made by <br />Ben Vaughan, seconded by Nancy Anderson to approve the Fagade Grant. <br />Motion carried 6 -0. <br />
