MINUTES <br />REGULAR MEETING <br />CITY OF PARIS HISTORIC PRESERVATION COMMISSION <br />WEDNESDAY, APRIL 14, 201.0 <br />12:00 O'CLOCK P.M. <br />The Historic Preservation Commission meeting was called to order by Arvin Starrett, Chairman at <br />12:00 p.m. <br />A. The following members were present: <br />Arvin Starrett, Chairman <br />Paul Denney, Vice - Chairman <br />Douglas Cox <br />Ben Vaughan <br />Jerry Raper <br />Matt Coyle <br />B. The following members were absent: <br />Susan Scholz, Secretary <br />C. Also present was Jeanna Scott, City Staff. <br />2. Approval of minutes. from previous minutes. (March 22, 2010) <br />Motion was made by Matt Coyle, seconded by Paul Denney to approve the minutes for the March <br />22, 2010 meeting. Motion carried 6 -0. <br />3. Consideration of and action on the.following Certificates of Appropriateness: <br />A. 250 and 265 South Main Street – Gibraltar Hotel – Fence Color – Britin Bostick, 222 E. <br />Hickory, presented the petition. Ms. Bostick stated received approval to add a fence to the <br />properties. The approved color for the fence was black; they are proposing to change the <br />color from black to a grayish green. Motion was made by Ben Vaughan, seconded by Paul. <br />Denney to approve the COA. Motion carried 6 -0. <br />B. 265 South Main Street – Gibraltar Hotel – Withdrawn by petitioner. <br />4. Consideration of and action on the following Fagade Grant: <br />A. 110, 112, 114, 116 and 118 Clarksville Street – Andy and Nancy Anderson – Motion was <br />made by Ben Vaughan, seconded by Paul Denney to approve the fagade grant in the amount <br />of $327.90.
