MINUTES <br />REGULAR MEETING <br />AIRPORT ADVISORY BOARD <br />CITY OF PARIS — CITY HALL <br />COUNCIL CHAMBERS <br />107 E. KAUFMAN STREET <br />PARIS, TEXAS <br />THURSDAY, MAY 17, 2012 <br />5:30 O'CLOCK PM <br />The Airport Advisory Board meeting was called to order by Billy Copeland, Chairman at <br />5:36 p.m. <br />A. The following members were present: <br />Ray Ball <br />Phillip Payne <br />Fred Williams <br />Billy Copeland <br />Vic Ressler <br />B. The following members were absent: <br />Steve Gilbert <br />Jerry Coyle <br />C. Also present was Shawn Napier, Airport Director; and Jeanna Scott, City Staff. <br />2. Approval of minutes from previous meeting. (April 19, 2012) <br />Motion was made by Ray Ball, seconded by Vic Ressler to approve the minutes for the <br />April 19, 2012 meeting. Motion carried 4 -0. <br />3. Report from Shawn Napier, Airport Director: <br />A. Status of Airport Improvements — Shawn Napier made a report to the advisory <br />board members. Mr. Napier stated consultant/contractor seem to be on pace with <br />the project, they should have taxi way A open by the end of this week or even as <br />soon as tomorrow. Mr. Napier further stated they will be working on 1732 cross <br />wind runway which will be closed for a full depth concrete replacement. The <br />contractor will have to finish some crack sealing on the concrete area in front of <br />the terminal building. Otherwise, everything seems to be going good thanks to <br />Richard Drake Construction who has done all the asphalt. <br />Mr. Fred Williams arrived at 5:42p.m. <br />
