Motion carried unanimously. 6 -0 <br />B. 216 SE 20th, Lot 16, City Block 223 <br />Owner: Martin & Carmen Loera, 1722 Church St. Sulphur Springs, TX 75482 <br />Robert Talley spoke with both Martin and Carmen today at the property. The <br />property owner agreed that the back structure needs to be demolished. The front <br />structure has no moisture, a new roof, and has new wood on it. The property <br />owners are working on it. <br />The commission had a discussion about what repair means and if it matters if the <br />property is habitable or not. <br />Robert Talley's recommendation: 90 days to have the front structure on the <br />property repaired if not the property will be brought back to the Building and <br />Standard Commission and 30 days to demolish the back structure and if not the <br />City has the right to demolish and apply a $1000 per day civil penalty. <br />Motion was made by Johnny Norris, seconded by Wendell Moore to follow <br />Robert Talley's recommendation for the property owner to repair the front <br />structure on the property within 90 days, if not the property will be brought <br />back to the Building and Standard Commission.
