They have torn down the old porch <br />and are working on the property. The Woods have also finished the roof. Robert <br />and the Fire Marshall have inspected the property. <br />Bill Wood addressed the commission and asked if they would take the front <br />structure off the condemned list so they could focus on the back structure. <br />Discussion on the removal of the front structure off the condemned list took place. <br />Mr. Wilson stated that the structure couldn't be taken off the list until all the work <br />is completed. Mr. Saffle stated that the Woods have completed all the work. <br />Robert Talley agreed that the Woods have completed the work they were asked to <br />do. The Wood's showed pictures taken today on all the work that's been done. <br />Randy Roam of 1750 Margaret St. spoke to the commission. He explained that <br />the owners have done an outstanding job in a short amount of time on the <br />property. Mr. Moore asked if the privacy fence that was put up helped with the <br />security of the back structure. Everyone agreed it did. Mr. Brown stated that he <br />agreed that the commission should release the front structure and focus on the <br />back structure now. Mr. Moore and Mr. Lassiter commended the property owns <br />for a job well done. <br />Robert Talley's recommendation: The front structure: 90 days to have the <br />property repaired if not the property will be brought back to the Building and <br />Standard Commission. The back structure: 30 days to demolish if not the City has <br />the right to demolish and apply a $1000 per day civil penalty. <br />Motion was made by Ryan Lassiter, seconded by Zach Saffle to allow 90 days <br />to demolish or repair the back structure on the property, if not the property <br />will be brought back to the Building and Standard Commission. Motion <br />carried unanimously. 5 -0 <br />C. 326 SE 3rd; Lot 4, City Block 181 <br />Owner: Marin & Connie Justice PO Box 737 Paris, TX 75461 -0737 <br />Present: Connie Justice was present but she did not speak. <br />Robert Talley showed pictures of the overgrowth around the house, there is a hole <br />in the roof, the porch is falling in, missing wood, foundation sinking, water <br />damage, unsecure, missing sheetrock, and rotting wood. The side structure has <br />missing wood. Don Wilson asked if the structure is sound. Robert Talley stated <br />that when Mrs. Justice applies for permits that the inspection department will <br />have to determine if the structure can be repaired. He stated that it's up to the <br />owner to determine if they want to repair or not and if they fail to do so or if the <br />building inspectors do not pass the structure it will be brought back to the <br />commission. <br />Robert Talley's recommendation: 90 days to have the property repaired if not the <br />
