Robert Talley's recommendation: Repair within 60 days City has the right to <br />apply a $1000 per day civil penalty. <br />Motion was made by Wendell Moore, seconded by Chris Brown to allow <br />Mrs. Freeman 90 days to have the property repaired if not the property will <br />be brought back to the Building and Standard Commission. <br />Motion carried unanimously. 4 -0 <br />Don Wilson entered the meeting. <br />Ryan Lassiter recused himself from items R. and S. Don Wilson made a <br />motion to recuse Ryan Lassiter from the discussion and Zach Saffle seconded <br />the motion. Motion carried 4 -0. <br />R. 1503 Margaret; Lot 20, City Block 102 <br />Owner: John S. House, 1446 Clarksville St. Paris, TX 75460 <br />Present: John S. House <br />Robert Talley showed pictures of the holes in the roof, warping boards, rotting <br />boards, boards coming loose from the structure, and shingles buckling. <br />John House spoke to the commission and plans on tearing down the structure and <br />asked for 120 days. Don Wilson explained to Mr. House that the commission can <br />only give 90 days. <br />Robert Talley's recommendation: 30 days to demolish if not the City has the right <br />to demolish and apply a $1000 per day civil penalty. <br />Motion was made by Zach Saffle, seconded by Chris Brown to allow Mr. <br />House to demolish the property in 90 days, if not the City has the right to <br />demolish and apply a $1000 per day civil penalty to the property. Motion <br />carried unanimously. 4 -0 <br />S. 1608 E Hearon; Lot 6 -A & 6 -B, City Block 112 -F <br />Owner: John S. House, 1446 Clarksville St. Paris, TX 75460 <br />Present: John S. House <br />Robert Talley showed pictures of the deteriorating wood, windows broken, <br />unsecure, interior destroyed, front of the house has dropped, and there is <br />deterioration of the roof. <br />John House told the commission that he had planned on tearing the house down <br />and asked for 90 days to demolish the house. <br />Robert Talley's recommendation: 30 days to demolish if not the City has the right <br />to demolish and apply a $1000 per day civil penalty. <br />Motion was made by Chris Brown, seconded by Zach Saffle to allow Mr. <br />House 10 days to secure the property and 90 days to demolish the property, if <br />not the City has the right to demolish and apply a $1000 per day civil penalty <br />to the property.
