Robert Talley's recommendation: 30 days to demolish if not the City has the right <br />to demolish and apply a $1000 per day civil penalty. <br />Motion was made by Wendell Moore, seconded by Johnny Norris to follow <br />Robert Talley's recommendation for the property owner to demolish the <br />property in 30 days, if not the City has the right to demolish and apply a <br />$1000 per day civil penalty to the property. Motion carried unanimously. 6 -0 <br />T. 1631 E Polk, Lot Pt. 9 All 10, Block B, Willis Addition <br />Owner: Billy D Robertson % Rob Robertson, 104 CR 2140 Detroit, TX 75436 <br />Robert Talley has had no contact with the owner. <br />Robert Talley stated that the house has fire damage and a hole in the roof. Don <br />Wilson asked the question since the house burned what if the property owner <br />received an insurance check. Robert Talley said there was no way to know. <br />Robert Talley's recommendation: 30 days to demolish if not the City has the right <br />to demolish and apply a $1000 per day civil penalty. <br />Motion was made by Johnny Norris, seconded by Zach Saffle to follow <br />Robert Talley's recommendation for the property owner to demolish the <br />property in 30 days, if not the City has the right to demolish and apply a <br />$1000 per day civil penalty to the property. Motion carried unanimously. 6 -0 <br />U. 1720 Cleveland, Lot E60' 1 -2 & E60' of N25' of 3, Block 4, Anita Park <br />Addition <br />Owner: James & Johnna McNeal, 4175 Linn Dr. Paris, TX 75460 <br />Robert Talley spoke with Johnna McNeal and she said the bank would not let <br />them demolish the structure. Since she received the letter from the City the bank <br />is trying to work with her. The property is unsecure, broken windows, holes in the <br />walls, and missing floor. <br />Robert Talley's recommendation: 90 days to demolish if not the City has the right <br />to demolish and apply a $1000 per day civil penalty. <br />Motion was made by Chris Brown, seconded by Johnny Norris to follow <br />Robert Talley's recommendation for the property owner to demolish the <br />property in 90 days, if not the City has the right to demolish and apply a <br />$1000 per day civil penalty to the property. Motion carried unanimously. 6 -0 <br />4. Future agenda items. <br />(1) Don Wilson talked about the two houses on Fitzhugh Street. He stated that <br />Mike Malone's extension was out and that he didn't start working on the <br />property until one week prior to his deadline. <br />5. Adjournment <br />Motion was made by Chris Brown, seconded by Wendell Moore to adjourn <br />the meeting at S:OOpm. Motion carried unanimously. 6 -0 <br />
