Robert Talley's recommendation: 30 days to demolish if not the City has the right to demolish and apply a $1000 per day civil penalty. Motion was made by Wendell Moore, seconded by Johnny Norris to follow Robert Talley's recommendation for the property owner to demolish the property in 30 days, if not the City has the right to demolish and apply a $1000 per day civil penalty to the property. Robert Talley stated that the house has fire damage and a hole in the roof. Don Wilson asked the question since the house burned what if the property owner received an insurance check. Motion carried unanimously. 6 -0 U. 1720 Cleveland, Lot E60' 1 -2 & E60' of N25' of 3, Block 4, Anita Park Addition Owner: James & Johnna McNeal, 4175 Linn Dr. Paris, TX 75460 Robert Talley spoke with Johnna McNeal and she said the bank would not let them demolish the structure. Since she received the letter from the City the bank is trying to work with her. The property is unsecure, broken windows, holes in the walls, and missing floor. Robert Talley's recommendation: 90 days to demolish if not the City has the right to demolish and apply a $1000 per day civil penalty. Motion was made by Chris Brown, seconded by Johnny Norris to follow Robert Talley's recommendation for the property owner to demolish the property in 90 days, if not the City has the right to demolish and apply a $1000 per day civil penalty to the property. Motion carried unanimously. 6 -0 4. Future agenda items. (1) Don Wilson talked about the two houses on Fitzhugh Street. He stated that Mike Malone's extension was out and that he didn't start working on the property until one week prior to his deadline. 5.
