No action was taken. <br />B. 1020 W Houston, Lot 14 & 15, Block 46, City of Paris <br />Owner: Johnny & Bertie Butler, 500 SE 91h St, Waco, TX 76706 <br />Robert Talley has had no contact with the owner. <br />$16,101.12 taxes are owed on this property. <br />Robert Talley stated that the property is unsecure, has holes in the ceiling, <br />insulations is falling out of the ceiling, holes in the roof, rotting inside, and water <br />is entering the structure. <br />Robert Talley's recommendation: 30 days to demolish if not the City has the right <br />to demolish and apply a $1000 per day civil penalty. <br />Motion was made by Wendell Moore, seconded by Ryan Lassiter to follow <br />Robert Talley's recommendation for the property owner to demolish the <br />property in 30 days, if not the City has the right to demolish and apply a <br />$1000 per day civil penalty to the property. Motion carried unanimously. 6 -0 <br />D. 1031 Graham St., Lot 2, Block 46, City of Paris <br />Owner: Ralph Deyhle, 2900 Stillhouse Rd. Paris, TX 75462 -2029 <br />No taxes are owed. <br />Robert Talley said the certified letter that was sent out to the property owner came <br />back unopened and marked deceased. <br />Robert Talley showed pictures of the property where the windows were open, <br />unsecure, deterioration and broken windows, deterioration of foundation and <br />shingles coming off the roof. Don Wilson asked if it matters or changes anything <br />if the property is in probate. Mr. John Lestock (City attorney) stated no. <br />Robert Talley's recommendation: 30 days to demolish if not the City has the right <br />to demolish and apply a $1000 per day civil penalty. <br />Motion was made by Johnny Norris, seconded by Zac Saffle to follow Robert <br />Talley's recommendation for the property owner to demolish the property in <br />30 days, if not the City has the right to demolish and apply a $1000 per day. <br />civil penalty to the property.
