Ben Vaughan asked if Mr. Hilyer would have objectives to moving the sign closer to side walk, to comply with the sign ordinance. Mr. Hilyer stated he had no problem moving the sign. Motion was made by Paul Denney, seconded by Jerry Raper to approve the COA with a stipulation that the sign is moved two feet further from the curb. Motion carried 7 -0. B. 5 East Plaza — Subway (Sign Revision from Scott's Signs) — Alex, Scott's Custom Signs, presented the petition. Alex stated Subway denied the logo on the bottom of sign. Subway requested that "open daily" be placed at the bottom of the sign. Motion was made by Ben Vaughan, seconded by Susan Scholz to approve the COA. Motion carried 7 -0. 5. Discussion of the Sign Ordinance. Commissioners discussed the sign ordinance and how it affects the Historic District.
