Commissioners discussed the possibilities of expanding the northern boundary of the Downtown Historic District to encompass the northern areas from Graham to Pine Bluff. S. Discussion of and possible action on a financial contribution for the proposed northern Gateway Park. Commissioners discussed the possibility of allocating funds for the proposed Gate Way Park. Motion was made by Matt Coyle, seconded by Jerry Raper to request City Council allocate $15,000 from the current 2009 Historic Preservation budget as a gift for the proposed Gateway Park. Motion carried 5 -0. Paul Denney abstained. 6 Discussion of and possible action regarding the following structures considered by code inspectors to be in violation of Article III of Chapter 7 o f the Code of Ordinances of the City of Paris, Paris, Texas, entitled "Substandard and Dangerous Buildings and Structures, " to determine whether such buildings or structures can be rehabilitated and designated on the National Register of Historic Places, as a recorded Texas Historic Landmark, or as historic property as designated by the City Council of the City of Paris: A. 2310 3R' Street S.E.; Lot 13, City Block 170 -C B. 86317`` Street S.E.; Lot 10, Block B, Crockett Place C. 1007 Fitzhugh; Lot S S' of 12 and all of 13, Block 2, Fitzhugh Addition D. 907 Grove; Lot 12A -13, Block 1, Fitzhugh Addition E. 702 East Booth; Lot 16, City Block 63-A F. 316019th Street N. W.; Lot N % 41, City Block 297 G. 2003 West Campbell; Lot 5-A, City Block 237 A H. 515 27th Street N. W.; Lot N Y2 37 All 38, Block 6, Sperry's 1st Addition I. 1525 West Walker, Lot 4, Block 7, Colonial Addition Motion was made by Susan Scholz, seconded by Paul Denney, to send all structures to the Building and Standards Commission for demolition since they cannot be rehabilitated nor do they have significant historical value. Motion carried 6 -0. 7. Request items for future agendas. There were none.
