Manor Way, Dallas, Texas, stated that there are 3 free standings signs. <br />One is on the northeast corner of the property, one at the north <br />entrance and on at the south entrance. The ground sign will have <br />uplighting, incandescent is one of the preferred light sources. Mr. <br />Starrett stated that there is concern of a chasing marquee being <br />inappropriate within the district. However, the sign company is acting <br />in good faith as they were issued, by the City, a permit for the signage; <br />therefore, the Commissioners will certainlytake that into consideration. <br />Motion was made to approve the COA by Paul Denney, seconded by <br />Brian Wear. Motion carried 5 -0. <br />Pat Crabtree joined the meeting and asked to speak regarding his item. He <br />asked for the option to brick in the 2 columns at a future date. He wants to <br />paint them off -white to match the color on the door. The columns are 4 x 4. <br />He wants to antique it to match the back of the building. The request was <br />informally accepted. Lisa Wright requested more information about the <br />approved materials, such as the roof, for the COA. Mr. Crabtree advised that <br />the roof was white metal. Paul Denney pointed out that it looks to be seamed. <br />Pat Crabtree asked if he needed a privacy fence around his dumpster. Arvin <br />Starrett said that he does not see a problem with it, but a COA would have to <br />be submitted for approval. <br />3.
