an old photograph of this corner which showed a pass- through, that <br />there was a photograph of another corner about a block away that <br />showed a pass- through, and that evidence on the ground in the way the <br />concrete was laid across the street also shows that was a pass - <br />through. She stated it appeared that most of the corners on the Plaza <br />appeared to have originally been pass - throughs. Motion was made to <br />approve the COA by Pike Burkhart, seconded by Brian Wear. Motion <br />carried 8 -0. <br />D. 33 1st Street N.E. — Cindy Allcorn. James Allcorn proposed two <br />signs —one on the west side of the building facing the parking lot and <br />one on the northeast corner above the door. The signs are hand -made <br />of wrought iron. Arvin Starrett stated that the sign is within the sign <br />ordinance requirements and the materials, size, and placement are <br />okay under the guidelines. Motion was made to approve the COA by <br />Paul Denney,; seconded by Sharon Nabors. Motion carried 8 -0. <br />6. Consideration of and action on awarding the following facade grant. <br />A. 36 W. Plaza - Don Moffitt. Motion was made to approve the grant by <br />Brian Wear, seconded by Pike Burkhart. Motion carried 8 -0. <br />- - - -- CONSENT AGENDA --- - -- <br />7. Discussion of and possible action regarding the following structures <br />considered by code inspectors to be in violation of Article ill of Chapter 7 of <br />the Code of Ordinances of the City of Paris, Paris, Texas, entitled <br />"Substandard and Dangerous Buildings and Structures," to determine <br />whether such buildings or structures can be rehabilitated and designated on <br />the National Register of. Historic Places, as a recorded Texas Historic <br />Landmark, or as historic property as designated by the City Council of the <br />City of Paris: <br />A. 791 E.
