4. Receipt of report from the Historic Preservation Officer. Lisa Wright <br />introduced Bethany Golden, the new Main Street Coordinator, to the <br />Commission. She then handed out the attached report. She also advised the <br />Commission that the Legal Department was researching the appropriate <br />method required for implementation of the design guidelines, and she would <br />advise the Commission accordingly. Commission members reported that the <br />lights around the square were not working and asked Ms. Wright to check into <br />the status of the Brown lawsuit. <br />5. Requestitems from Board forfuture agendas. Commissioners reported that <br />there was a cafe reopening by the Market Square with a bullet sign in front of <br />it. The also reported that the street lights on Bonham were still out. Tony <br />Williams advised he would check into the status of his report to TXU. <br />Commissioner advised that downtown merchants were interested in seeking <br />additional streetscape grants and were also interested in getting involved with <br />the pocket park. <br />6.
