B. 634 3rd Street S.W. -Nancy Reynolds. Vice - Chairman Wilson advised <br />the Commission that this item was dropped, so no action is necessary. <br />C. 509 S. Main - Glenn and Lynn Bertelson. No one was present on behalf <br />of this application to answer questions, so motion to table was made <br />by Sue Lancaster, seconded by Paul Denney. Motion carried 6 -0. <br />3. Consideration of and action on recommending approval of the following <br />requests for tax exemptions: <br />A. 130 Bonham Street - Daniel Atnip. The HPO advised that the COA for <br />the work listed in the application had already been approved. Motion <br />to recommend the exemption to the City Manager was made by Sue <br />Lancaster, seconded by Becki Norment. Motion carried 5 -0, with Paul <br />Denney abstaining. <br />4. Discussion of and possible action regarding the following structures <br />considered by code inspectors to be in violation of Article 111 of Chapter 7 of <br />the Code of Ordinances of the City of Paris, Paris, Texas, entitled <br />"Substandard and Dangerous Buildings and Structures," to determine <br />whether such buildings or structures can be rehabilitated and designated on <br />the National Register of Historic Places, as a recorded Texas Historic <br />Landmark, or as historic property as designated by the City Council of the <br />City of Paris: <br />A. Corner of 7th Street N.W. and Henderson. The HPO advised that this <br />property is the apartment complex located next door to the Casa Bonita <br />Apartments. Motion to forward this structure the Building and <br />Standards Commission was made by Claudia Hunt, seconded by Paul <br />Denney. Motion carried 6 -0. <br />5. Receipt of report from the Historic Preservation Officer. The HPO handed out <br />the attached report. Vice - Chairman Wilson asked if there was a deadline for <br />exemptions, and HPO advised that the application had to be submitted prior <br />to the commencement of work. Sue Lancaster reported that not all applicants <br />were posting their COAs as required. <br />6. Request items from Board for future agendas. The HPO advised that the <br />revised Pocket Park proposal was not on the agenda because Arvin Starrett <br />had requested to be present when it was acted upon, so it would be placed on <br />the next agenda. <br />
