B. 634 3rd Street S.W. -Nancy Reynolds. Vice - Chairman Wilson advised the Commission that this item was dropped, so no action is necessary. C. 509 S. Main - Glenn and Lynn Bertelson. No one was present on behalf of this application to answer questions, so motion to table was made by Sue Lancaster, seconded by Paul Denney. Motion carried 6 -0. 3. Consideration of and action on recommending approval of the following requests for tax exemptions: A. 130 Bonham Street - Daniel Atnip. The HPO advised that the COA for the work listed in the application had already been approved. Motion to recommend the exemption to the City Manager was made by Sue Lancaster, seconded by Becki Norment. Motion carried 5 -0, with Paul Denney abstaining. 4. Discussion of and possible action regarding the following structures considered by code inspectors to be in violation of Article 111 of Chapter 7 of the Code of Ordinances of the City of Paris, Paris, Texas, entitled "Substandard and Dangerous Buildings and Structures," to determine whether such buildings or structures can be rehabilitated and designated on the National Register of Historic Places, as a recorded Texas Historic Landmark, or as historic property as designated by the City Council of the City of Paris: A. Corner of 7th Street N.W. and Henderson. The HPO advised that this property is the apartment complex located next door to the Casa Bonita Apartments. Motion to forward this structure the Building and Standards Commission was made by Claudia Hunt, seconded by Paul Denney. Motion carried 6 -0. 5. Receipt of report from the Historic Preservation Officer. The HPO handed out the attached report. Vice - Chairman Wilson asked if there was a deadline for exemptions, and HPO advised that the application had to be submitted prior to the commencement of work. Sue Lancaster reported that not all applicants were posting their COAs as required. 6. Request items from Board for future agendas. The HPO advised that the revised Pocket Park proposal was not on the agenda because Arvin Starrett had requested to be present when it was acted upon, so it would be placed on the next agenda.
