MINUTES <br />REGULAR MEETING <br />CITY OF PARIS HISTORIC PRESERVATION COMMISSION <br />CITY HALL WEST ANNEX <br />CONFERENCE ROOM <br />150 1ST STREET S.E. <br />PARIS, TEXAS <br />WEDNESDAY, SEPTEMBER 26, 2005 <br />4:00 O'CLOCK P.M. <br />1. The Historic Preservation Commission meeting was called to order by <br />Chairman Arvin Starrett at 4:00 P.M. <br />A. The following members were present: <br />Jerry Raper <br />Paul Denney <br />Sue Lancaster <br />Alternates: Brian Wear <br />Becki Norment <br />B. The following members were absent: <br />Ann Rodgers, Secretary <br />Barbara Wilson <br />Claudia Hunt <br />C. Also present were Lisa Wright, Historic Preservation Officer, and <br />Bethany Golden, Main Street Coordinator. <br />2. Approve minutes from previous meetings. Motion to approve the minutes <br />from the August 10, 2005, and August 24, 2005, meetings was made by Brian <br />Wear, seconded by Sue Lancaster. Motion carried 5 -0. <br />Beck! Norment arrived at the meeting. <br />3. Consideration of and action on the following Certificates of Appropriateness: <br />Alex Pickering has not arrived yet, so the Commission moved to agenda items <br />3C and 3D. <br />C. 33 E. Plaza - Steve Shoemake. Due to the old windows becoming <br />dangerous, they need replacing. Motion to approve the replacement of <br />the windows was made by Brian Wear, seconded by Paul Denney. <br />Motion carried 6 -0. <br />D. 301 Bonham -Jack and Laura Hoskins.
