MINUTES <br />REGULAR MEETING <br />CITY OF PARIS HISTORIC PRESERVATION COMMISSION <br />CITY HALL WEST ANNEX <br />CONFERENCE ROOM <br />150 1ST STREET S.E. <br />PARIS, TEXAS <br />WEDNESDAY, NOVEMBER 9, 2005 <br />12:00 O'CLOCK P.M. <br />The Historic Preservation Commission meeting was called to order by <br />Chairman Arvin Starrett at 12:00 P.M. <br />A. The following members were present: <br />Barbara Wilson, Vice Chairman <br />Jerry Raper <br />Paul Denney <br />Sue Lancaster <br />Ann Rogers, Secretary <br />Alternate: Becki Norment <br />The following members were absent: <br />Claudia Hunt <br />Alternate: Brian Wear <br />B. Also present were Lisa Wright, Historic Preservation Officer; Bethany <br />Golden, Main Street Coordinator; Charles Richards, The Paris News; <br />and Suzy Harper. <br />2. Approve minutes from previous meetings. Motion to approve the minutes as <br />amended from the October 24, 2005, meeting was made by Barbara Wilson, <br />seconded by Sue Lancaster. Motion carried 5 -0. <br />3. Consideration of and action on the following Certificates ofAppropriateness: <br />A. 114 S. Main Street - Geniveve Solomon by Matthew Coyle, Designated <br />Agent. Mr. Coyle proposed putting windows back into the bricked up <br />section above the door using windows similar to those recently <br />approved for the Kaufman Mall. Mr. Coyle said he did not mind if they <br />didn't match the existing non - conforming windows. <br />Jerry Raper joined the meeting. <br />Motion was made by Ann Rogers, seconded by Jerry Raper, to refer this <br />item back to the Historic Preservation Officer to meet with Mr. Coyle to <br />
