305 <br /> <br /> <br /> BE IT RESOLVED BY THE PARIS ECONOMIC DEVELOPMENT <br /> CORPORATION, that the services of the Economic Development Services Company be procured <br /> for the purpose of conducting a General Labor Market Assessment and a Wage and Benefit Study; <br /> and, <br /> <br /> BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that the Director of Finance of the City oF Paris, W. E. <br /> Anderson, be, and he is hereby, authorized and directed to issue payment to the Economic <br /> Development Services Company in the amount of $7,333.34 for said General Labor Market <br /> Assessment and $2,$00.00 for said Wage and Benefit Survey. <br /> <br /> PASSED AND ADOPTED this 10th day of December, 1997. <br /> <br /> Curtis Fendley, President - <br /> <br /> ATTEST: <br /> <br /> Richard M. Amis, Secretary-Treasurer <br /> <br /> APPROVE AS TO FORM: <br /> <br /> T. K. Haynes, City Attorney <br /> <br /> <br /> Boardmember Dick Amis, made a motion, seconded by Boardmember Barney <br /> Bray that this resolution be adopted, and the Board voted unanimously to adopt <br /> the resolution. <br /> <br /> President Fendley stated that the next item on the agenda concerned the <br /> purchase of lots in the Southwest Industrial Park, and he asked Mr. Vest to <br /> discuss this item. Mr. Vest stated that the property in question consisted of 38.6 <br /> acres in the Southwest Industrial Park currently owned by the Paris Industrial <br /> Foundation. Mr. Vest proposed that P.E.D.C. purchase the 38.6 acres from the <br /> Paris Industrial Foundation then P.E.D.C. will own the land and be able to do <br /> whatever is necessary in dealing with prospective users. <br /> <br /> City Attorney T.K. Haynes read the resolution. <br /> <br />-- Resolution No. 97-010, authorizing the purchase of Lots 1 and 2, and part of Lot 3, <br /> Block B, located in the Southwest Industrial Park, from the Paris, Texas Industrial <br /> Foundation. <br /> <br /> <br />
