<br />Board Minutes for the <br />Paris Economic Development Corporation <br />May 17,2006 <br />4:00 P.M. <br /> <br />Board Members <br />Present: Dick Severson <br />Rodney Bass <br />Mike Dunn <br /> <br />Board Members <br />Absent: Sims Norment <br />Glen Bawcum <br /> <br />Ex-officio Members <br />Present: Tony Williams <br />Pam Anglin <br /> <br />Staff Present: <br />Gary Vest <br />Chad Madding <br /> <br />Rodney Bass called the meeting to order at 4:00 p.m. <br /> <br />The minutes of the April, 2006 meeting were approved with changes on a motion <br />by Dick Severson and a second by Mike Dunn. <br /> <br />The financial report was presented by Gary Vest for the month ending April 30, <br />2006. The financial report was approved on a motion by Dick Severson and a <br />second by Mike Dunn. <br /> <br />The plans for the new C-Tech building going in the Paris Industrial Park were <br />approved on a motion by Dick Severson and a second by Mike Dunn. <br /> <br />The board reviewed a letter to the editor of the Paris News about the Paris EDC. <br />The letter will run after a few minor wording changes. This action was approved <br />on a motion by Dick Severson and a second by Mike Dunn. <br /> <br />The PEDC has been working with Anthony Sign's on building a sign for the <br />industrial park. The board liked the design and on a motion by Dick Severson <br />and a second by Mike Dunn the PEDC will have Anthony Sign's go ahead with <br />the project. <br />
