Mr. <br />Norment asked if any board member had concerns or questions about <br />splitting the positions. Richard Manning reported that he personally did not <br />want the position to be split due to the public relations purposes that have <br />best served the community. John Wright reported that what ever best <br />promoted harmony within the community is what should be considered. <br />Derald Bulls asked if the PEDC had the intention of hiring an assistant <br />director. Sims Norment said that if the positions were split, there would be a <br />possibility that an assistant director would not be needed. Dick Severson <br />reported that the position is working well as it currently stands. Brady Fisher <br />reported that we should talk with other Chambers in surrounding areas to see <br />if they have a similar situation and how it works for their community. Sims <br />
