<br />ORDINANCE NO. 2004~057 <br /> <br />AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PARIS, <br />PARIS, TEXAS, PROVIDING FOR THE EXTENSION OF CERTAIN <br />BOUNDARY LIMITS OF THE CITY OF PARIS, PARIS, TEXAS, AND THE <br />ANNEXATION OF CERTAIN TERRITORY CONSISTING OF 5.187 ACRES, <br />MORE OR LESS, AS REQUESTED BY PETITION OF THE OWNERS <br />THEREOF; GRANTING TO SAID TERRITORY AND TO ALL FUTURE <br />INHABITANTS OF SAID PROPERTY ALL OF THE RIGHTS AND <br />PRIVILEGES OF OTHER CITIZENS AND BINDING SAID FUTURE <br />INHABIT ANTS BY ALL OF THE ACTS AND ORDINANCES OF THE CITY <br />OF PARIS; MAKING OTHER FINDINGS AND PROVISIONS RELATED TO <br />THE SUBJECT; REPEALING ALL ORDINANCES OR PARTS OF <br />ORDINANCES IN CONFLICT HEREWITH; AND PROVIDING AN <br />EFFECTIVE DATE. <br /> <br />WHEREAS, a petition of annexation has been duly signed and acknowledged by each and <br />every person or corporation having an interest in the following described territory, to-wit: <br /> <br />Being all that certain tract ofland situated in Lamar County, <br />Texas, a partofthe Wesley Askins Survey, Abstract No.7, apart of <br />the 100.00 acre tract ofland conveyed to D. Wayne Brown, et aI., <br />by deed recorded in Volume 939, Page 31 of the Lamar County <br />Real Property Records, and a part of the 121.76 acre tract of land <br />conveyed to D. Wayne Brown, et aI., by deed recorded in Volume <br />949, Page 296 of the Lamar County Real Property Records, and <br />being further described as follows: <br />Beginning at a point, said point being North 64008'23" West a distance of <br />298.63 feet from an iron pin found for comer at the most Northeasterly comer of Lot <br />17, Block B, of The Hills Phase III as recorded in Envelope No. 371-C of the Lamar <br />County Plat Records; <br />. Thence around a curve to the right having a radius of 452.47 feet, long chord <br />bears South 44000' 10" West a distance ofl11.70 feet, an arc distance of 111.99 feet <br />to a point for comer; <br />Thence South 51005'37" West a distance of 1267.07 feet to a point for <br />comer; <br />Thence North 44012'46" West a distance of 134.46 feet to a point for comer; <br />Thence around a curve to the right having a radius of 691.20 feet, long chord <br />. b0ars North 43018' 13" West a distance of36.22 feet, an arc distance of36.22 feet to <br />a point for comer; <br />Thence South 89002'43" East a distance of150.82 feet to a point for comer; <br />Thence South 64008'23" East a distance of 65.83 feet to the point of <br />beginning and containing 5.187 acres of land; and, <br />
