WHEREAS, said tract ofland is contiguous and adjacent to the current city limits of the city of Paris, Texas, and is not more than one-half (1/2) mile in width; and, WHEREAS, said petition fully cOnfonned with the requirements of Section 6 of the Charter of the City of Paris and Section 43.028 of the Local Government Code; and, WHEREAS, said petition was preSented to the City Council on the II th day of October, 2004; and, WHEREAS, after hearing such petition and the arguments for and against the same, the City Council adopted Resolution No. 2004-191 granting such petition to annex said territoI}' into the city of Paris, Texas; NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PARIS, PARIS, TEXAS: Section 1. That the findings set out in the Preamble to this ordinance are hereby in all things approved. Section 2.
