PLANNING AND ZONING COMMISSION MEETING <br />MARCH 6, 2000 <br />The Planning and Zoning Commission met Monday, March 6, 2000 at 5:30 in the City Hall - <br />Council Room, Paris, Texas with the following members present: <br />1. Reeves Hayter 4. Curtis Fendley <br />2. Bobby L. Myers 5. Michael Dangerfield <br />3. Cesar Horta 6. Marshall Kent <br />Earl Smith, the City Engineer was also present. <br />The meeting was called to order by Reeves Hayter. <br />1. The minutes from the February 7, 2000 regular planning and zoning meeting were <br />approved with a motion by Curtis Fendley seconded by Bobby L. Myers. Motion carried by <br />a vote of 6 ayes and 0 nays. <br />2. Public Hearing to consider the petition of Larry Dee Hoskins for a change in zoning <br />from an Agricultural District (A) to a Multiple- Family Dwelling District No. 1(MF -1) <br />Part of Lot 10, City Block 188 -E, being the 1800 Block of SE 6" Street. <br />The public hearing was declared open. <br />Mr. Larry Dee Hoskins, Rt. 4, Box 429, Clarksville, TX, spoke in favor of the petition, he <br />wants Multiple Family zoning. A fire hydrant is already in place. <br />There was no opposition, the public hearing was declared closed. <br />3. Consideration of and action on the petition of Larry Dee Hoskins for a change in <br />zoning from an Agricultural District (A) to a Multiple - Family Dwelling District No. 1 <br />(1VIF -1) Part of Lot 10, City Block 188 -E, being the 1800 Block of SE 6" Street. <br />Motion was made to approve by Michael Dangerfield and seconded by Bobby Myers. <br />Motion carried by a vote of 6 ayes and 0 nays. <br />4. Public Hearing to consider the petition of Carmon King for a change in zoning from <br />a One - Family Dwelling District No. 2 (SF -2) to a One - Family Dwelling District No. 3 <br />(SF -3) With Specific Use Permit (39) Mobile Homes, Pt. of Lot 1, Block 301, being the <br />600 Block of NW 27" Street. <br />The public hearing was declared open. <br />Mr. Carmon King, 10737 FM 14, Tyler, TX, spoke in favor of the petition for a mobile <br />home. The property would be restricted to 1200 SF and the home would be 5 years old or <br />
