Ms. Susan Walker, on Board of Directors, shared personal experience that she had here in <br />Paris. She provided assistance with the type of person that this organization will assist. <br />Ms. Betty Kildahl, Rt. 1, Box 228, Sumner, speaking for the church across the street, <br />opposed the petition. She understands the need and the house is big enough but she thinks <br />a verbal agreement for the drive is not good enough. She wonders how the organization is <br />funded and if it fails, what happen to the house? <br />Mr. Jerry Harting, 1213 Pine Bluff, lives across the street and is very familiar with traffic <br />problems in the area. He feels the home is a good idea but questions if this is a good location <br />due to parking. He thinks only 3 cars can park there. <br />The Planning and Zoning Commission questions the limit on number of residents and <br />parking problem. <br />There was no further opposition, the public hearing was declared closed. <br />11. Consideration of and action on the recommendation of Cindy G. Bowlin for a change <br />in zoning from a Two - Family Dwelling District (2F) to a Two - Family Dwelling District <br />(2F) With Specific Use Permit (24) Institutions of Religious Nature, Lot 1, City Block <br />32, being number 1202 Pine Bluff. <br />Motion to table was made by Curtis Fendley and seconded by Marshall Kent. Motion carried <br />by a vote of 6 ayes and 0 nays. <br />12. Public Hearing to consider the petition of Donald Lewis for a change in zoning from <br />an Agricultural District (A) to a One - Family Dwelling District No. 3 (SF -3), Lot 18, City <br />Block 501. <br />The public hearing was declared open. <br />Mr. Donald Lewis, Rt.10, Box 7410, Paris, spoke in favor of the petition stating the property <br />was recently annexed and he wants to rezone to six One - Family Dwelling District lots for <br />patio homes. <br />There was no opposition, the public hearing was declared closed. <br />13. Consideration of and action on the recommendation of Donald Lewis for a change in <br />zoning from an Agricultural District (A) to a One - Family Dwelling District No. 3 (SF- <br />3), Lot 18, City Block 501. <br />Motion was made to approve by Curtis Fendley and seconded by Michael Dangerfield. <br />Motion carried by a vote of 6 ayes and 0 nays. <br />14. Public Hearing to consider the petition of Linda Stephens for a change in zoning from <br />an Agricultural District (A) to a Commercial District (C) With Specific Use Permit (54) <br />Signs and Billboards, Lot 14, City Block 306 -C, being the 5600 Block of 271 North. <br />
