PLANNING AND ZONING COMMISSION MEETING <br />AUGUST 7, 2000 <br />The Planning and Zoning Commission met Monday, August 7, 2000 at 5:30 at Heritage Hall -1009 <br />West Kaufman Street, Paris, Texas with the following members present: <br />1. Reeves Hayter 5. Curtis Fendley 9. Bill Coleman <br />2. Vincent Battles 6. Bobby L. Myers <br />3. Barbara Forrest 7. Marshall Kent <br />4. Eddie Vincent 8. Louis Yates, Jr. <br />Earl Smith, the city engineer was also present. <br />The meeting was called to order by Reeves Hayter. <br />1. The minutes from the July 3, 2000 regular planning and zoning meeting were approved <br />with a motion by Curtis Fendley seconded by Bill Coleman. Motion carried by a vote of 9 <br />ayes and 0 nays. <br />2. The next item was tabled at the July 3, 2000, meeting. Motion was made by Curtis <br />Fendley and seconded by Bobby Myers to bring item from table. Motion carried by a <br />vote of 9 ayes and 0 nays. <br />3. Public Hearing to consider the petition of Donald Lewis for a change in zoning from <br />a One - Family Dwelling District No. 3 (SF -3) to a Planned Development District <br />(PD -b), Lot 18, City Block 501. <br />The public hearing was declared open. <br />There was no one present to speak in favor of or against the petition. <br />There was no opposition, the public hearing was declared closed. <br />4. Consideration of and action on the petition of Donald Lewis for a change in zoning <br />from a One - Family Dwelling District No. 3 (SF -3) to a Planned Development District <br />(PD -b), Lot 18, City Block 501. <br />Motion was made to deny by Curtis Fendley and seconded by Marshall Kent. Motion carried <br />by a vote of 9 ayes and 0 nays. <br />5. Public Hearing to consider the petition of Don G. Wilson for a change in zoning from <br />a One - Family Dwelling District No. 2 (SF -2) to a Planned Development District (PD -d) <br />Medical Center and Hospital and (PD -f) Office Center, Part of Lot 14, City Block 259, <br />being the 2900 Block of East Cherry. <br />
