Consideration of and action on the petition of Earl Posey for a change <br />in zoning from a One - Family Dwelling No. 2 (SF -2) District to a Two - <br />Family Dwelling (2F) District, Lots 2 & 3, City Block 300, being the 500 <br />Block 24th NW. <br />Motion was made to deny by Curtis Fendley and seconded by Bobby <br />Myers. Motion carried by a vote of 7 ayes and 0 nays. <br />10. Public Hearing to consider the request on the abandonment of a fifteen <br />(15) foot alley in Block 4 of the S.J. Wright Addition between Bonham <br />Street (U.S. Hwy 82) and Kaufman Street beginning at the West <br />boundary line of 18" Street SW, West to the East boundary line of 19' <br />Street SW. <br />The public hearing was declared open. <br />James Flowers stated that the alley was a "no man's land" that <br />accumulates trash and brush and if closed, property owners would <br />clean it up and keep it that way. <br />There was no opposition, the public hearing was declared closed. <br />11. Consideration of and action on the request on the abandonment of a <br />fifteen (15) foot alley in Block 4 of the S.J. Wright Addition between <br />Bonham Street (U.S. Hwy 82) and Kaufman Street beginning at the <br />West boundary line of 18th Street SW, West to the East boundary line <br />of 19' Street SW. <br />Motion was made to approve by Bobby Myers and seconded by Louis <br />Yates, Jr. Motion carried by a vote of 7 ayes and 0 nays. <br />12. Consideration of and action on the recommendation of the Preliminary <br />Plat, Lot 14 -A, City block 259, Red River Business Park. <br />
