MINUTES OF THE REGULAR MEETING OF THE PLANNING AND <br />ZONING COMMISSION <br />MARCH 3, 2003 <br />The Planning and Zoning Commission met Monday, March 3, 2003, 5:30 <br />P.M., Paris Junior College, Applied Technology Building, Room 1206, 2400 <br />Clarksville Street, Paris, Texas with the following members present: <br />1. Reeves Hayter 4. Barbara Forrest <br />2. Marshall Kent 5. Bobby L. Myers <br />3. Russell McCain 6. Curtis Fendley <br />Steve Methven, the building official was also present. <br />The meeting was called to order by Reeves Hayter. <br />1. The minutes from the February 3, 2003, regular planning and zoning <br />meeting were approved with a motion by Curtis Fendley and seconded <br />by Russell McCain. Motion carried by a vote of 6 ayes and 0 nays. <br />2. Public Hearing to consider the petition of Joe Vanness for a change in <br />zoning from a One - Family Dwelling District No. 2 (SF -2) to a One - <br />Family Dwelling District No. 3 (SF -3) With Specific Use Permit (39) <br />Manufactured Home, Lots 23 and 24, Block 3, Cedar Hill Addition, <br />being number 1115 28" NW. <br />The public hearing was declared open. <br />Joe Vanness, Farmersville, spoke in favor of the petition stating that he <br />wants to replace an existing mobile home with a brand new double wide <br />manufactured home. Mr. Vanness presented a picture of the new home <br />that would be placed at this location. <br />There was no opposition, the public hearing was declared closed. <br />3. Consideration of and action on the petition of Joe Vanness for a change <br />in zoning from a One - Family Dwelling District No. 2 (SF -2) to a One - <br />Family Dwelling District No. 3 (SF -3) With Specific Use Permit (39) <br />
