Planning and Zoning Meeting <br />April 8, 2003 <br />Page 2 <br />There was no opposition, the public hearing was declared closed. <br />3. Consideration of and action on the petition of William Gaffney for a <br />change in zoning from a One - Family Dwelling District No. 2 (SF -2) to <br />a One - Family Dwelling District No. 3 (SF -3) With Specific Use Permit <br />(39) Manufactured Home, Lots 6 and 7, Block 1, Cedar Hill Addition, <br />being number 915 28t' Street NW. <br />Motion was made to approve by Louis Yates and seconded by <br />Cleveland Thomas for a manufactured home subject to property being <br />replatted. Motion carried by a vote of 6 ayes and 0 nays. <br />4. Public Hearing to consider the petition of Phil Carter and Phillip <br />Brandon Carter for a change in zoning from an Agricultural (A) <br />District to a Commercial (C) District, Lots 1 and 2, City Block 399, <br />being the 6000 Block of Clarksville Street. <br />The public hearing was declared open. <br />Brandon Carter spoke in favor of the petition stating that he and his <br />dad, Phil Carter, had recently bought this property and would like to <br />lease it to Mr. Randolph to sell trucks at this location. <br />Mr. Fendley was not sure about zoning without knowing for sure what <br />it would be used for. <br />Mr. Carter said he was sure that it would be used for a car lot. Mr. <br />Carter said that he would bring plans to the next planning and zoning <br />meeting and a contract from Mr. Randolph to lease the property. <br />There was no opposition, the public hearing was declared closed. <br />
