The current zoning is for retail. <br />The dumpsters for the facility will be to the south away from the <br />property. <br />Christine Sweatman, 615 Fairway, spoke in opposition to the petition <br />inquiring as to how far the dumpsters would be from her home. Ms. <br />Stweatman expressed drainage concerns. <br />Margo Spencer, 735 Fairway, opposed the petition. Ms. Spencer <br />wanted to know about the landscape buffer —she prefers a fence to <br />landscaping buffer. <br />Tommy Harris, 2850 Ridgeview, expressed concern about lighting. <br />There was no further opposition, the public hearing was declared <br />closed. <br />4. Consideration of and action on the petition of John Marc Tolson for <br />a change in zoning from a Planned Development District (PD -a) - <br />Retail Shopping Center to a Planned, Development District (PD -b) <br />Housing Development or Community Unit Development (Assisted <br />Living) on Part of Lot 14, City Block 259 ( +/- 3.55 acres), being <br />located in the 700 block of Collegiate Drive. <br />Motion was made to approve by Carl Lucas, seconded by Bobby <br />Myers. Motion carried by a vote of 7 ayes and 0 nays. <br />5. Public Hearing to consider the petition of Angela Corrigan for a <br />change in zoning from a One - Family Dwelling District No. 2 (SF -2) <br />to a Neighborhood Service District (NS) on Lot 2, Block A of the <br />Westwood Addition, being number 3420 W. Houston Street. <br />
