Public hearing was declared closed. Motion was made by Bill Harris, seconded by Keith Barnett to approve the zoning change. Motion carried 6 -0. 5. Public hearing and consideration of and action on the petition of Frances Russell Wells for a change in zoning from a Single Family Dwelling District No. 2 (SF -2) to a Multiple Family Dwelling District No. 2 (MF -2) on lots 12 and 13, Block 1, Stellrose Addition, being number 2232 Simpson Street. Public hearing was declared open. The following individual spoke in favor of the petition. Frances Russell Wells, 4000 Stillhouse Road, Paris, Texas 75462, Ms. Wells presented the petition asking commissioners to approve the zoning change from a SF -2 District to a MF -2 District. No opposition present. Public hearing was declared closed. Motion was made by Bee Gannon, seconded by Darin Manning to approve the zoning change. Motion carried 6 -0. 6. Public hearing and consideration of and action on the petition of Bobby R. Jones.for a change in zoning from a Single Family Dwelling District No. 3 (SF -3) to a Commercial District (C) on Lot 3, City Block 235, being number 1180 IV" Street N W. Public hearing was declared open. The following individuals spoke in favor of the petition. Bobby Jones, 306 FM 2820, Sumner, Texas, Mr. Jones presented the petition stating he owns the property beside this lot and wants to use the lot for additional parking or auto lot. No opposition present. Public hearing was declared closed. Motion was made Keith Barnett, seconded by Bill Harris, to approve the zoning change. Motion carried 6 -0. Motion was made by Bill Harris, seconded by Bee Gannon to recuse Richard Hunt from Item 7 and 8. Motion carried 5 -0.
