MINUTES OF THE REGULAR MEETING <br />OF THE <br />AIRPORT ADVISORY BOARD <br />Tuesday, July 17, 2001 <br />6:00 PM <br />1. The Airport Advisory Board Meeting was called to order by the <br />Chairman, Victor Abeles, at 6:00 P.M. <br />A. The following members were present: <br />Victor Abeles, Chairman James Ashmore, Recorder <br />James Proctor Vic Ressler <br />Mark Buster <br />B. The following members were absent: <br />J. B. Richey Paul Golden <br />C. Also in attendance were: <br />Tommy Haynes, Airport Director <br />Jim Collier, Airport Manager <br />Larry Schenk, City Attorney <br />Jerry Richey <br />Roddy McCarrell, Paris Pump <br />II. The Minutes of the June 19, 2001, meeting had been distributed to the <br />directors with their agenda. A motion was made by Victor Abeles, <br />seconded by James Proctor and unanimously approved to accept the <br />minutes as presented. <br />III. Status of the new "T" hangars and drainage plans. <br />Mr. Haynes reported the drawings are being prepared and the city will <br />advertise for bids on July 29, 2001 and August 5, 2001. The bids could <br />be opened on August 9', in time for .the next City Council Meeting. <br />Drainage work is in progress. <br />IV. Discussion, review, and possible action regarding other cities' and the <br />City of Paris policy on insurance for private hangars. <br />Larry Schenk discussed the insurance of private hangars. Mattie <br />Cunningham, City Clerk, had advised that the City of Paris does not <br />
