<br />RESOLUTION NO. 99-034 <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Paris did heretofore, on the 24th day of <br />September, 1990, in Resolution No. 90-083, declare surplus and authorize the sale of Lot 2, City <br />Block 322; and, <br /> <br />WHEREAS, bids for 4.37 acres of said property were received until 3:00 p.m., Tuesday, <br />March 23, 1999, and the highest bid by a responsible bidder was from Donald Morrell in the <br />amount of $45,200.00; and, <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the form of the Special Warranty Deed to Donald Morrell for the conveyance <br />of said 4.37 acres being a part of Lot 2, City Block 322, attached hereto as Exhibit A, should, in <br />all things, be approved, and the Mayor, Charles H. Neeley, should be authorized to execute the <br />same upon the date of closing, which shall occur no sooner than thirty (30) days from the date of <br />passage of this resolution in accordance with Section 145 of the Charter of the City of Paris; <br />NOW, THERE}'ORE, <br /> <br />BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL 01<' THE CITY OF PARIS, that the <br />bid of Donald Morrell in the amount of $45,200.00 for a 4.37 acre tract, being a part of Lot 2, <br />City Block 322, be, and the same is hereby, accepted and let; and, <br /> <br />BE IT }'URTHER RESOLVED, that the Mayor, Charles H. Neeley, be and he is hereby, <br />authorized and directed to execute, on behalf of the City of Paris, a Special Warranty Deed to <br />Donald Morrell, under the terms and conditions and in the form shown in Exhibit A, attached <br />hereto, upon the date of closing, which shall occur no sooner than thirty (30) days from the date <br />of passage of this resolution in accordance with Section 145 of the Charter of the City of Paris. <br /> <br />PASSED AND ADOPTED this 12th day of April, 1999. <br /> <br /> <br />-;fJ <br /> <br /> <br />Charles H.
