REGULAR MEETING MIINUTES <br />CITY OF PARIS HISTORIC PRESERVATION COMMISSION <br />CITY COUNCIL CHAMBERS <br />107 EAST KAUFMAN <br />PARIS, TEXAS <br />WEDNESDAY, July 12.2017 <br />4:00 P.M. <br />Present: <br />Absent: <br />Chris Dux <br />Sarah Barbee <br />Glee Emmite <br />David Alarid <br />Linda Vandiver <br />Guests: <br />Skipper Steely <br />Barbara Wilson <br />Randy Hider <br />Lyle Edwards <br />Cheri Bedford HPO <br />Carla Easton, City Engineer <br />Stephanie Harris, City Attorney <br />1. Call meeting to order at 4:00 p. m. <br />2. All Commissioners took turns and introduced themselves and said why they wanted to be on <br />the Commission. <br />3. Motion was made by Commissioner Dux to approve the May 10, 2017 minutes, Motion carried <br />6 -0 <br />4. Nominations for Commission officers were taken, and a motion was made by acclimation to <br />accept the following slate as officers for the year 2017 -2018: Chris Dux, Chairman, Skipper <br />Steely, Vice Chairman, and Randy Hider, Secretary. Motion carried 6 -0. <br />5. Update on National Alliance of Preservation Commissions CAMP -July 26, 2017 Cheri <br />informed the commission there was a code that they could use to register for the training, and <br />it was important to go ahead and register for planning purposes. <br />6. --- CONSENT AGENDA - -- <br />Discussion and possible action regarding the following structures considered by code <br />inspectors to be in violation of Article III of Chapter 7 of the Code of Ordinances of the City of <br />Paris, Paris, Texas, entitled "Substandard and Dangerous Buildings and Structures," to <br />
