408`h NE Commissioner Steely said the building was in an probate and completely tied up in an <br />estate. Commissioner Steely felt there was not hope for this structure. <br />These structures will be placed on the agenda at the next meeting to send to Buildings and <br />Standards Commission. <br />HPO report by Cheri Bedford, <br />A plea for commissioners to attend the event Imagine the Possibilities event on May 20, 2017 <br />as support on the day of the event. A review of which buildings are going to be showcased was <br />presented in DowntownTX. A report of which marketing for event has been completed for the <br />event: Posters, Facebook, radio, balloons. Commissioners Barbee offered to blow up balloons <br />and deliver the day of the event. Peoples Bank was very happy to be a location on the tours, <br />and they are going to provide several volunteers. <br />A reminder was given to the Commissioners to save the date for the NAPC Commissioners <br />training on Wednesday July 26, 2017, and this is a top notch training and the hours all day. <br />Commissioners were made aware of the resignation of Pat Conrad & Leah Rolen (MSAB) and <br />given a reminder to reapply if Commissioners are interested and eligible to serve another <br />term. <br />Glee Emmite was selected from the Main Street Advisory Board to be the liaison to the Historic <br />Preservation Commission in place of Leah Rolen. <br />Future agenda Item: <br />How to designate a property a Recorded Texas Historic Landmark (RTHL) <br />Cheri to send the process out. <br />Belford Apartments <br />Lamar Hospital update <br />The Commission reviewed the local landmarks and standalone districts on the map. <br />With no further items, a motion was made by Commissioner Knox to adjourn at 5:20 p.m. <br />Motion carried 4-0. <br />Chair <br />
