Love Civic Center <br />Present: Curtis Fendley, Bobby Walters, Kenneth Webb, Troy Scholl, Robert High, Linda Kapp, Casey <br />"Iessler, Chip McEwin, Helen Ressler, <br />A — <br />Curtis Fendley called the meeting to order at 4:00 pm. <br />A motion to approve the June minutes was made by Kenneth Webb, seconded by Casey Ressler. All <br />approved. <br />Ken Higdon stated that the Pamphlet marketing piece for Love Civic Center was on hold waiting for <br />pricing information and needing pictures of a variety of events held at Love Civic Center. <br />Board input was that information is on website and pamphlet is for marketing purposes to show <br />pictures of meeting rooms, concerts, weddings, wedding receptions Etc. <br />Ken stated that there will be a report from the long range planning committee assessment at the <br />September meeting. (Yikes! Please check with Ken and Randy on this) <br />Linda Kapp gave an overview of the July Financials, and Kenneth Webb made motion to approva <br />ceconcled by Casey Ressler. They were approved and accepted into the minutes. <br />Randy Nation, spoke to! the Board about the bids for cabinets in the kitchen. $9,150.85 from Simwick, <br />Bobby made the motion to approve bid, and seconded; by Casey Ressler, <br />Motion carried to go forward with building aind inistalling the cabinets. <br />Randy stated that the shelving in the kitchen would begin next week. <br />a I . a , - a aI � � I � I � � � �� I � I !I, I t <br />R 1 0 , I , *- 1 0 <br />Floor machine is up and running with a backup system also in place. <br />Randy talked about the ongoing leaks in the ceiling. Plans in place to get those repaired,. <br />During one of the, events recently, someone backed into the steel garage door in the back and did <br />damage estimated at $500. The plan had been to replace the door before this incident happened, so <br />the $50i1 will be put towards the replacement. <br />Randy talked about the po:oion in the Trolley barn, and that an exhaust fan is needed. There <br />was also damage to a panel on the side wall that needs to be replaced, <br />Curtis and board said to go! forward with these repairs if under $5,000. <br />
