Richey that the present slate of
officers be reappointed. Greta Greb was re- elected as
President and J.W. Ashmore was re- elected Secretary.
4. A report concerning the selection of a engineering consultant
firm for the T.D.A. project was presented by Dick Boots. A
total of 16 proposals were received. A short list of three
firms was made on January 25, 1991. The firm of Bucher,
Willis & Ratliff was selected on January 28, 1991.
5. The T.D.A. Project was discussed. Items to be completed are:
1 - Taxiway extensions to Runway 17/35
2 - Drainage work
3 - Construction of a helipad
4 - Security Fencing
5 - Asphalt overlay of entrance road and parking area.
6. Mrs. Greb reported that the A.W.O.S. is still a possibility.
The Advisory Board will continue to gain support for an
A.W.O.S. being placed in Paris. Funding through the F.A.A.
is still possible. It would be to the City of Paris' benefit
if the A.W.O.S. was installed by the FAA /NWS as they would
then be responsible for the annual maintenance. If the City
had the A.W.O.S. installed, they would also have to take care
of the maintenance on the system.
