1. <br />2. <br />- 17 <br />AIRPORT ADVISORY BOARD MEETING <br />TUESDAY, MAY 24, 1994 <br />COX FIELD <br />PARIS, TEXAS <br />The scheduled meeting was called to order by Chairman Eric <br />Clifford at 6:00 P.M. The following members were present: <br />Victor Abeles <br />J.W. Ashmore <br />Tony Daigle <br />Vic Ressler <br />J. B. Ritchey <br />Mark Buster <br />The following members were absent: <br />Larry Greb <br />Also in attendance: Dick Boots, Jim Collier and <br />Herb Ordelheide. <br />The new members of the board were swore in by T.K. Haynes, <br />City Attorney, new member is Mark Buster. All old members <br />were also sworn in as a new requirement by board memberships. <br />3. Victor Abeles was nominated as the new chairman of the Airport <br />Advisory Board, motion was seconded by Tony Daigle. Moved <br />and seconded that nominations cease. Victor Abeles was <br />elected by unanimous vote. <br />4. The minutes of the November 23, 1993, meeting were read and <br />approved without correction. Motion for acceptance was made <br />by Tony Daigle, seconded by J.B. Richey, and carried by a 6 -0 <br />vote. <br />5. Mark Buster was introduced as a new board member and welcomed <br />by the chairman and other board members. <br />6. The lighted guidance sign project was discussed. The City of <br />Paris will administer all funds for the project. The Texas <br />Department of Transportation will send the City of Paris the <br />entire amount -of money for the project. The City Council <br />approved at it's last meeting our 5% cost share of the <br />project. Bucker, Willis & Ratliff have been selected to be <br />the project consultant. <br />6A. Chairman Abeles requested that since the City Attorney was in <br />attendance, he would like for him to explain the insurance <br />requirements for those doing contract work for the City and <br />for those receiving aviation permits at Cox Field. <br />
