Discussion of dis
monthly session at City Hall on
ith the following board members
n Rex and the minutes of the previous
al of three oldT- Hangars.
It was reported by Mr. Collier and Mr. Whitaker that Mr. Wrenn had made no
progress toward vacating the old hangars.
2. Increase to 5 planes per row in a nested fashion, by having every
other plane facing an alternate direction, and /or by alternating high
wing and low wing aircraft. The disadvantage of this method is that an
attendent would be required to dlirect and assist pilots, especially
females and those alone, in the parking of planes in order to keep
planes parked properly and without damage to other craft.
It was further noted that the estimated cost of installing parking cables
required for either of the above parking methods is $3,200 - $3,500 for cable
for two (2) rows of planes. It was noted that used cable is occasionally
available from Campbell Soup Company for a great deal less that new cable.
However, based on the overall cost and the disadvantages noted above.
