Jet Fuel Storage <br />Mr. Collier reported that the floats for' the new jet fuel tank are in but that <br />a "check valve" remains to be received and installed. Also a concrete pad for <br />the fuel separator and pump is not in ye't. The new jet fuel truck is operational <br />and working well. <br />New Business: <br />1. FY 1981 -82 capital expenditures budget items: <br />At the request of the Airport Board, Mr.! listed the following capital <br />improvement projects and their latest estimated costs: <br />A. Purchase and install two (2) new fuel tanks for 80 and 100 Octane <br />fuel, including pumps and fuel (lines. $27,000.00 <br />B. Temporary sand and oil ramp for non- transient parking. $30,000.00 <br />C. Additional ramp in area where 3, old T- Hangars are to be removed <br />(subject to Federal and State funding). $120.000.00 <br />D. Combination firehouse, pilot's (:lounge, operations office and managers <br />office (partially subject to Federal and State funding).$65,000.00 <br />Upon a motion by Allie O'Brien, seconded', by James Moseley, the board voted <br />unanimously to include each of the above' projects in the Airport's budget <br />request for FY 1981 -82. It was noted that the total $242,000.00 is large, but <br />that each project is important for the future of the airport. It was also <br />noted that we want to be prepared to accept matching Federal funds if they <br />are offered and that all projects subject to Federal matching funds should be <br />budgeted in case the funds become available. <br />There being no further business to consider the meeting was adjourned. <br />I <br />
