MINUTES <br />AIRPORT ADVISORY BOARD <br />TUESDAY, APRIL 28, 1981 <br />7:15 O'CLOCK P.M. <br />CITY HALL <br />PARIS, TEXAS <br />The Airport Advisory Board met in regular session at City Hall Tuesday, April <br />28, 1981 at 7:15 P.M. with the following Board members present: <br />1. Rick Rex - Chairman 3. Allie O'Brien <br />2. Dr. Joann Ondrovik 4. James Moseley <br />Others present were: <br />1. Jim Collier, Airport Manager <br />2. Bill Boothe <br />The minutes from the March meeting were approved as written. <br />Items on the agenda were considered: <br />1. Update on disposal of three (3) old T- Hangars. <br />A report on the disposal of three old T- Hangars by Mr. Wrenn was delayed. <br />2. Update on jet fuel storage matters. <br />Gravel has been laid for the road to the tanks and they will be operat- <br />ional as soon as minimal clean up of dirt and gravel is completed <br />following weather packing. <br />3. Update on FY 1981 -82 Budget progress. <br />Budget await City Council consideration. Mr. Collier will keep Board <br />informed. <br />New Business: <br />1. Review the FAA lease on Directional Finder site. <br />FAA proposes a lease to cover a site upon which to install, operate and <br />maintain a UHF Direction Finder at Cox Field to be located next to the <br />windsock. An access road would be built from Taxiway B to the Direction <br />Finder and a 2" - 4" conduit placed under Runway 17. Term of lease is <br />for 20 years at no charge. <br />Allie O'Brien moved and Mr. Moseley seconded a motion that the lease be <br />recommended for City Council approval pending City Attorney approval. <br />The motion carried unanimously. <br />
