MINUTES <br />AIRPORT ADVISORY BOARD <br />TUESDAY, APRIL 29, 1986 <br />COX FIELD TERMINAL <br />Paris, Texas <br />The meeting was called to order at 6:00 P.M. by Greta Grebb with the following <br />members present: <br />J.W. Ashmore, Secretary <br />Greta Grebb <br />Members absent: <br />Bill Boothe, Chairman <br />Joe Burress <br />OLD BUSINESS: <br />Eric Clifford <br />Jim Collier - Airport Manager <br />1. Gravel Road: Eric Clifford reported that it will take about $5,000. to <br />blacktop the gravel road by the "T" hangers. There is $3,,356.22 in the <br />budget for street and alley repairs. The committee moved, seconded and <br />passed a recommendation that the City expend the budgeted amount on the <br />cost of a blacktop surface on the gravel road by the "T" hangers. This <br />work should be undertaken at the earliest possible time. <br />2. New "T" Hangers: This item was tabled until the next meeting. <br />3. Possible Grants and Funding: This situation has not changed since the <br />last meeting. The approved funds have not been released by T.A.C. The <br />City cannot seek bids on this project until the funds are released. <br />NEW BUSINESS: <br />1. The next Airport Advisory Board meeting will be July 29, 1986. In the <br />event there is a need, the president will call a special meeting. <br />2. The Advisory Board recommends to the City Council that every effort and <br />action possible should be implemented as soon as possible to bring <br />Cox Field into compliance with FAA requirements in an effort to have <br />T.A.C. release the funds that have been approved. <br />3. Permits <br />4. The meeting was adjourned at 6:40 P.M. <br />
