MINUTES <br />AIRPORT ADVISORY BOARD <br />MONDAY, JANUARY 25, 1983 <br />CITY HALL - COUNCIL ROOM <br />PARIS, TEXAS <br />The Airport Advisory Board met in session at City Hall, Monday, January 25, <br />1983 at 7:20 P.M. with the following members present: <br />1. Richard Rex - Chairman <br />2. Dr. Edward Keller <br />3. William Boothe <br />4. Gene Sudduth <br />5. Kristina V. Campbell - Secretary <br />Also present were T. K. Haynes, City Attorney, Jim Collier, Airport Manager, <br />Mr. & Mrs. Jimmy Wren, Mr. & Mrs. Theron Maness, Ken Holmes, Sonja Boothe, <br />Melissa Mahan, Dr. & Mrs. Cecil D. Huneycutt, Roger A. Boxwell, Joe Burress, <br />Zoan Biglin, Austin D. Ellis, Mickey Ross, Sue Thompson, Sherri Babb, B. A. Copeland, <br />Jim Ellis, Herbert H. Campbell, Ed Ellis and Mr. & Mrs. Thomas R. Kerr. <br />The minutes for the December 8, 1982 Airport Advisory Board meeting were <br />discussed. It was noted that a correction needed to be made to paragraph four. <br />It should read $115,000.00 rather than $115.00. With that correction, the minutes <br />were approved as read. <br />Mr. Richard Rex asked for nominations for chairman. <br />It was <br />MOVED by Gene Sudduth and seconded by Bill Boothe that Richard Rex be made <br />chairman. <br />MOTION CARRIED 5 -0 <br />It was <br />MOVED by Bill Boothe. and seconded by Gene Sudduth that Kristina Campbell be <br />made secretary. <br />MOTION CARRIED 5 -0 <br />Mr. Rex welcomed the new members to the board. Mrs. Campbell asked that a <br />guest list be signed by those present so their names could be included in the minutes. <br />OLD BUSINESS <br />1. Review UNICOM frequency change: Mr. Collier reported that the UNICOM frequency <br />will change from 122.8 to 123.0. This is to become effective February 1, 1983. All <br />the airport radios except the fire truck have had the crystal for 123.00 installed. <br />The airport employees will try to monitor both radio channels for three months. <br />Pilots using 122.8 will be advised to use 123.0. <br />
