Mr. Rex noted that perhaps someone at the Airport should be given supervisory authority and that this matter shoulld be placed on the agenda for the next Airport Meeting in June. Dr. Keller suggested that until such time as a new Airport Operations Building be constructed at the site of the ramp which is now under construction that the Airport Operations Office be moved from the blue hangar to the terminal building where Mr. Collier, Airport Manager, has his office. At the current time, the City of Paris pays for the entire utilities in the blue hangar which the City leases to Mr. Jimmy Wrenn, this, despite the fact that the City only uses two small rooms in the hangar. Dr. Keller noted that the City could effect a considerable savings by moving from the blue hangar to the terminal building. In addition the Airport Manager would be better able to supervise the Airport employee who is operating the unicom radio and serving the public. Mr. Rex asked Mr. Collier how difficult it would be to move the unicorn radio from the blue hangar to the terminal building. Mr. Collier stated that there is a radio with antenna already located in the terminal building and this would be no problem. Dr. Keller suggested that the operations office be located in the south end of the terminal, that the Metro Airline passengers would not be disturbed because they are only in the building briefly each day and are really quite few in number :. Mr. Ellis pointed out that at the current time there is no large wall planning chart in the unicom office and that the south wall of the terminal building would be a good location for such a planning map. Mrs. Campbell noted that the windows in the terminal building would offer the unicom radio operator a better view of the incoming and out- going traffic. At the present time when the city employee is in the operations office at the blue hangar they have no way of seeing the runways unless the door to the office facing the runway is open and this is not usual in cold weather. Mrs. Campbell asked that this suggestion be discussed at the next Airport Advisory Board meeting. The meeting was adjourned by Mr. Rex on a motion by Mr. Sudduth, seconded by Dr. Keller.
