MINUTES OF THE REGULAR MEETING <br />OF THE <br />BUILDING AND STANDARDS COMMISSION <br />Monday, March 15, 2004 <br />4:00 P.M. <br />1. Chad Brown called the Building and Standards Commission Meeting to <br />order at 4:07P.M. <br />Roll was called. <br />A. The following members were present: <br />Chad Brown Patrick Brown <br />Brad Archer Harrell Tippitt <br />Greg Wilson <br />B. The following members were absent: <br />Tommy Robinson Mark Rothfuss <br />Lucius Joe, Jr. Ward Hall <br />Mary Crumpler Pike Burkhart <br />2. Approval of Minutes of February 16, 2004: <br />A motion was made by Harrell Tippitt to approve the meeting minutes, and Chad <br />Brown seconded the motion. The motion carried unanimously. <br />3. Public hearing to consider presentations by Code Inspector of the City of <br />Paris, and owner(s) and I or lien holders of the below listed properties which <br />have been given notice of a violation of City Ordinance that structures need <br />to be demolished because of fire damage: <br />A. 602 4u' Street N.E., Lot 31, City Block 60 <br />There were no comments from the audience concerning this property. <br />Patrick Brown made a motion that the building be demolished within 30 <br />days with a $1000 per day civil penalty and, if the building is not <br />demolished within the 30 day time period, the City will demolish the <br />building. Chad Brown seconded the motion. The motion carried <br />unanimously. <br />B. 537 8a' Street N.E., Lot 4, City Block 63 -A <br />Mrs. Pat Tibbs addressed the Commission concerning this property.
