J. 910 3rd Street N.E., Lot 1, City Block 74 -C This building is an old church with fire damage. There was no contact from the Church. Motion was made by Pike Burkhart, seconded by Mary Crumpler for the building to be demolished within 30 days with a $1,000 per day civil penalty and if the building is not demolished within the 30 day time period, the City will demolish. Motion carried unanimously. K. 766 3rd Street N.E., Lot 6, City Block 75 Billy Brown stated that they are having trouble finding someone to demolish the building and would like an extension of 90 days to give them time to find someone. His sister is wanting to rebuild on the same property. Motion was made by Chad Brown, seconded by Chris Brown that the building be secured within 21 days and then demolished within 60 days with a $1000 per day civil penalty and, if the building is not demolished within the 60 day time period, the City will demolish the building. Motion carried unanimously. L. 425 2nd Street N.E., Lot 15, City Block 76 Motion was made by Mary Crumpler, seconded by Harrell Tippitt for the building to be demolished within 30 days with a $1,000 per day civil penalty and if the building is not demolished within the 30 day time period, the City will demolish. Motion carried 5 -0 (Stephen Brown left the meeting momentarily). M. 403 1st Street N.E., Lot 13, City Block 77 There is a nursery school behind this house that has been broken into. Motion was made by Pike Burkhart, seconded by Chris Brown for the building to be demolished within 30 days with a $1,000_ per day civil penalty and if the building is not demolished within the 30 day time period, the City will demolish. Motion carried 6- 0 (Stephen Brown returned to the meeting). N. 333 1st Street N.E., Lot 4, City Block 57 Motion was made by Chad Brown, seconded by Stephen Brown for the building to be demolished within 30 days with a $1,000 per day civil penalty and if the building is not demolished within the 30 day time period, the City will demolish. Motion carried unanimously. O. 990 W. Henderson Street, Lot 7, City Block 100 -C The owner will try to demolish the building. Motion was made by Chad Brown, seconded by Mary Crumpler for the building to be demolished within 30 days with a $1,000 per day civil penalty and if the building is not demolished within the 30 day time period, the City will demolish. Motion carried unanimously.
