J. 910 3rd Street N.E., Lot 1, City Block 74 -C <br />This building is an old church with fire damage. There was no contact from the <br />Church. <br />Motion was made by Pike Burkhart, seconded by Mary Crumpler for the building to <br />be demolished within 30 days with a $1,000 per day civil penalty and if the building <br />is not demolished within the 30 day time period, the City will demolish. Motion <br />carried unanimously. <br />K. 766 3rd Street N.E., Lot 6, City Block 75 <br />Billy Brown stated that they are having trouble finding someone to demolish the <br />building and would like an extension of 90 days to give them time to find someone. <br />His sister is wanting to rebuild on the same property. <br />Motion was made by Chad Brown, seconded by Chris Brown that the building be <br />secured within 21 days and then demolished within 60 days with a $1000 per day <br />civil penalty and, if the building is not demolished within the 60 day time period, the <br />City will demolish the building. Motion carried unanimously. <br />L. 425 2nd Street N.E., Lot 15, City Block 76 <br />Motion was made by Mary Crumpler, seconded by Harrell Tippitt for the building <br />to be demolished within 30 days with a $1,000 per day civil penalty and if the <br />building is not demolished within the 30 day time period, the City will demolish. <br />Motion carried 5 -0 (Stephen Brown left the meeting momentarily). <br />M. 403 1st Street N.E., Lot 13, City Block 77 <br />There is a nursery school behind this house that has been broken into. Motion was <br />made by Pike Burkhart, seconded by Chris Brown for the building to be demolished <br />within 30 days with a $1,000_ per day civil penalty and if the building is not <br />demolished within the 30 day time period, the City will demolish. Motion carried 6- <br />0 (Stephen Brown returned to the meeting). <br />N. 333 1st Street N.E., Lot 4, City Block 57 <br />Motion was made by Chad Brown, seconded by Stephen Brown for the building to <br />be demolished within 30 days with a $1,000 per day civil penalty and if the building <br />is not demolished within the 30 day time period, the City will demolish. Motion <br />carried unanimously. <br />O. 990 W. Henderson Street, Lot 7, City Block 100 -C <br />The owner will try to demolish the building. <br />Motion was made by Chad Brown, seconded by Mary Crumpler for the building to <br />be demolished within 30 days with a $1,000 per day civil penalty and if the building <br />is not demolished within the 30 day time period, the City will demolish. Motion <br />carried unanimously. <br />
