MINUTES OF THE REGULAR MEETING <br />OF THE <br />BUILDING AND STANDARDS COMMISSION <br />Monday, March 20, 2006 <br />4:00 P.M. <br />1. Chad Brown called the Building and Standards Commission Meeting to order at 4:00 <br />P.M. <br />Roll was called. <br />A. The following members were present: <br />Pike Burkhart, Alternate Chris Brown, Alternate <br />Chad Brown Stephen Brown, Alternate <br />Harrell Tippitt Mary Crumpler (arrived at 4:05) <br />Zach Saffle, Alternate Ryan Lassiter <br />B. The following members were absent: <br />Brad Archer <br />Greg Wilson <br />Lucius Joe, Jr. <br />Chairman Chad Brown reported for the records that Pike Burkhart, Zach Saffle, Chris <br />Brown, and Stephen Brown would be seated as voting members since there were not enough <br />regular members to make a quorum. <br />2. Approval of Minutes of previous meeting: <br />A motion was made by Harrell Tippitt to approve the meeting minutes, and Chad Brown <br />seconded the motion. The motion carried 7 -0. <br />Mary Crumpler joined the meeting. <br />3. Public Hearing to consider presentations by City of Paris Code Inspectors and owner(s) <br />and /or lien holder(s) of the below properties who have been given notice of a violation <br />of Article III of Chapter 7 of the Code of Ordinances of the City of Paris, Paris, Texas, <br />entitled "Substandard and Dangerous Buildings and Structures ": <br />D. 4025 Clarksville and Highway 271; Lot 1, City Block 347 <br />Don Hevron, 2910 Clark Lane, stated that the house is structurally sound. The <br />section with the holes in the roof have been taken off. In the back where there is <br />sagging, there were four windows —it will be put back. The house is being used for <br />storage. The front porch has been removed and hauled off. All windows are secure. <br />Mr. Hevron needs 30 days from the end of next month to make repairs. He plan to <br />
