Since <br />that time, Mr. Davis has moved the sign and will be back in touch for <br />assistance on designing a new sign. Motion to table this item was <br />made by Paul Denney, seconded by Sue Lancaster. Motion carried 5 -0. <br />4. Consideration of and possible action on the appeal by Beverly Pendleton of <br />the denial of a Certificate of Appropriateness for 24 W. Plaza. Lisa Wright <br />advised the Commission that Mrs. Pendleton called to request that this be <br />tabled because she was unable to attend the meeting. Motion to table was <br />made by Barbara Wilson, seconded by Sue Lancaster. Motion carried 5 -0. <br />5. Receipt of report from the Historic Preservation Officer. Lisa Wright handed <br />out the attached report. <br />6. Request items from Board for future agendas. Paul Denney recommended <br />that the Board talk with sign companies to help head off inappropriate signs. <br />Arvin Starrett stated we would have design guidelines in January to assist <br />with this. Paul requested that we research sign designs that allow for <br />messages. Barbara Wilson stated we might be able to get with sign <br />companies and have them design a more appropriate bullet sign or sandwich <br />board. <br />7.
